The footage of this film was shot in 2019 during my first trip to Germany, before the #COVID-19 pandemic. Initially, it was intended to be a simple travel vlog, but I decided to edit and #reconstruct it in this unique way. My #objective was to capture the atmosphere, feeling, and mood of the place.
This approach could be a departure from the typical travel video style, which often resembles #architectural films or #restaurant #advertisements,Ω rather than conveying the personal experiences and emotions of the traveler.
This experimental short film explores three distinct architecture buildings from different eras and locations in Berlin.
Through recontextualization and juxtaposition, this short experimental film explores sleep not just as rest, but as a liminal space where memory, solitude, and the unconscious converge. Using footage from a past collaboration with a Russian performance artist—who staged sleep in outdoor spaces—alongside my own archival recordings, the film reframes these moments into a personal meditation on presence, absence, and the blurred boundaries between reality and dreams.
This film is a contemporary response to L’Arrivée d’un train en gare de La Ciotat (1896), using footage collected over 14 years of living in London while searching for a new way of life. Through train and tube journeys, I explore how the experience of arrival has changed—both in cinema and in personal transition. The Lumière brothers captured a moment that was new to film; today, the same motion carries different meanings. This project reflects on that shift, connecting the past with the present through movement, time, and change.

This film is a personal response to encountering Diane Arbus—not just her work, but the atmosphere, the tension, the quiet unease that lingers in her images. My entry into her world was not through photography, but through cinema—through the unsettling compositions of The Shining, where I later discovered her influence. This connection became the lens through which I approached her exhibition, shaping my perception of her practice.
These footages are a collection of visits from various exhibitions over the years, all with the theme of a distorted, intertwined world. The footage was recycled with sound design.
These are a series of short films that were university projects with a specific assignment, created from 2015 to the present. Due to limited resources, most of the research and ideation were done solo, and the editing, cinematography, and sound design were all done by myself.
